This seems to be the year for classes for me. I am loving online classes. I have most recently discovered AND love Stephanie Ackerman at http://www.homegrownhospitality.typepad.com/ . I LOVE her doodles. I have signed up for her Doodle 101 course, Doodle Too and Scrapbook Life Journal. I am really getting creative!
Project 365 is a huge success so far this year. I am 16 days into recording one item each day to remember. Sometimes the memory is small, but each day it is something that will jog my memory about everyday life. I can wait to get a whole month under my belt.

Starting 2012
I am starting a 365 project. I want to record a slice of life from as many days as possible.
We started 2012 playing games with Uncle Mike and Aunt Alexis. Avery and the kids watched Aladdin. A new recipe was consumed -- pizza pop-overs.
Recipe
Pepperoni Pizza Puffs

MIA
It's been a long time since I posted to my blog -- sorry I just disappeared. Last October I was diagnosed with mono for the second time and I quickly lost the ability to stay up past 8:30 in the evenings. Many evenings I could barely stay up that late! Thankfully my doctor was very helpful, and together we established that I suffer from S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) It took me until February to get my whole system back to normal, and has taken me another 6 months to get caught up on my life. In those six months I explored lots of crafts and hobbies that didn't require me sitting in front my computer. It's been great fun, and I look forward to sharing with you some of my adventures.

Tutorial – Changing Gradient Color
Several of you have asked how to recolor a gradient wordart, so today I have a little tutorial for you.
Begin by adding a wordart box to your page. Next scroll down to the fill option and click on the color box. This box will appear a gradient grey color.
After you click on the gradient box, another box will pop up that will allow you to select the color change options. When the box pops up, click on the small white box in the left hand corner of this box,
When you click on the small white box, you will notice that color box will change to white. You will then click on the color box to get to the color palette.
Hope that helps!

Have you checked out our forum lately?
We are working hard to grow the suitegal forum as a great resource for all of our MMS users. This week we want to welcome Jessica Creedon and Shawna Snowdon to our team. These two ladies are going to help Lisa and I moderate the suitegal forum. As part of our additions we are also going to be providing daily scrap challenges on the forum to help inspire you to have a little fun with a scrap page today!
If you haven't had the chance to check out the gallery in the forum, you can see what our MMS scrappers have been doing. Get inspired, and then post your own! There's room for everyone!
Happy Scrapping,
Sarah

Great weekend
I spent this weekend with Lisa Jurrens, a great friend whom I met online through MMS. While we didn't get tons of scrapping done, we did get some crafting done or thought about, we shopped and we got a little work done on suitegal.com. How great is this hobby where you can meet new friends and have a great time with them online and in person! Just one more reason to love digi-scrapping!

Welcome Mamabuzz readers!
If you are new to My Memories Suite or the idea of digital scrap booking, you are looking in the right place. This hobby is one of the best ever! You can record your history, your recent memories or your future memories in no time at all.
Two years ago I bought My Memories Suite. I started using it and it was so simple to use. Very little learning curve at all. I love scrapping with MMS because I can quickly scrap beautiful pages, learning the software took me no time at all, and I can be creative daily without making a big mess in my house. Here are a few pages I have been working on recently.
I made this great page with the Earth Day Quickpages from Shabby Miss Jenn's.
Love the hopscotch kit from Shabby Miss Princess that I used on this page.
I scrapped these entirely on My Memories Suite. I haven't ever scrapped with any other program. I do use Photoshop Elements to edit photos, and I love Photoscape for editing photos, but when I want to scrap I always turn to My Memories Suite. I don't have to think to scrap, and when I need to relax, I don't want to think - KWIM?
Here's a little freebie for you today to help you as you get started digital scrapping.
